2011 VeriFacts Outstanding Quality ACE Award Winners Honored

The winners of VeriFacts Automotive’s outstanding quality awards, known as the ACE Awards (Achievement in Collision Repair Excellence), were presented at the 2011 Collision Industry Achievement Awards Luncheon, held in conjunction with the SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

The VeriFacts ACE Awards were established to recognize outstanding performance from individual technicians and collision repair centers committed to attaining higher repair quality as measured through the VeriFacts Shop Coaching Program, the company noted. To qualify for an ACE Award, collision repair centers must participate in the VeriFacts Shop Coaching Program for at least six months. The technician and repair center that scored highest in their respective categories were presented the top award, with finalists being recognized with a Certificate of Repair Excellence.

The VeriFacts March Taylor Technician ACE Award was presented to Steve Offenhauser of Latuff Brothers Auto Body in Saint Paul, Minn.

"Steve is a very talented and dedicated technician and has been in the collision industry for 28 years. Steve is a graduate of Dakota County Technical College’s collision repair program and is an I-CAR Platinum Individual as well as an ASE Master Certified Technician. He was also the 1983 National VICA Champion," said Audie Swedeen, VeriFacts director of operations.
