3M Automotive Aftermarket Division Honored with Awards at SEMA 2015

Accuspray Spray Gun System with PPS and 3M PPS Color Match Film recognized for innovation and packaging.

3M Automotive Aftermarket Division announced that two new products, the 3M Accuspray Spray Gun System with PPS and 3M PPS Color Match Film, captured the attention of a panel of international judges during the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas and were each named 2016 SEMA Global Media Award winners. In addition, the 3M Accuspray Spray Gun System with PPS was also recognized as a runner-up in the Packaging Design category of the New Products Showcase Awards.

The Global Media Award program was introduced in 2004 to highlight the wide appeal of specialty equipment products at the SEMA Show to enthusiasts on every continent  The voting panel reviewed nearly 2,000 new products that were featured at this year’s show. Each journalist selected 10 products that would be of most interest to their publication and would most likely succeed commercially in their respective countries.

The 2016 SEMA New Products Showcase Awards represent the most innovative and cutting-edge automotive aftermarket products to be available in 2016. Nearly 3,000 products were entered into 16 different categories, and winners were selected based on a variety of factors that include quality, marketability, innovation, technology, consumer appeal and more.

The new 3M Accuspray Spray Gun System with PPS earned two Global Media Awards, recognized by both Young Jun Yu of Car & Tech in South Korea and Henry Pierini of AutoZulia International in Venezuela. The system also earned runner-up honors in the New Products Showcase Awards for Packaging Design.

3M PPS Color Match Film also earned a Global Media Award.
