AASP-MN Offering Estimating Systems Seminars
7/2/2008 8:48:37 AM

The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of Minnesota (AASP-MN) is sponsoring a series of seminars to prepare its members for the upcoming implementation of new association legislation. The new legislation prohibits insurers from disregarding a repair operation or cost identified in an estimating system.

“Know Your P-Pages” will be presented by industry expert Mike Anderson of Wagonwork Collision Center in Alexandria, Va. The program will take an in-depth look at all three of the estimating systems – Audatex, CCC and Mitchell – and the similarities and differences among them.

Anderson will guide attendees through a proven, systematic approach to identifying and capturing all of the “not included” items, auditing the quality of estimates by monitoring KPIs, utilizing the re-keying options available for data entry, avoiding last-minute parts delays and more.

The seminar schedule is:

  • East Metro Area – July 28, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Wildwood Lodge
  • Rochester – July 28, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Holiday Inn South
  • West Metro – July 29, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., Marriott Minneapolis West
  • St. Cloud – July 29, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., St. Cloud Technical College
  • Duluth – 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Lake Superior College

To register, call AASP-MN at (612) 623-1110 or visit www.aaspmn.org.
