Closing Shop

I’ve enjoyed
BodyShop Business very much for a long time, but I will no longer need it since I’ve given up on the collision repair industry. My son and I operate Thomas Auto Body, and April 30 was our last day.
I started at a Chevy dealership body shop in 1964 and have worked the floor since. Between steering, not getting paid for what you do, paint costs, fighting with adjusters, talking to customers till you’re blue in the face that they can take their vehicles anywhere they want to and DRP shops which, for the most part, do poor work I could go on and on.
BodyShop Business has the power of the press, which won’t be lifted at all by these mega shops that have so many DRPs. These kinds of shops must go. There’s no other way to fix this industry.

Sorry to hear it Bob, but I understand, just keep in mind not all cars go to these places, we are living proof of that
