An Ohio woman got a better view of nature than she bargained for while driving near a state park last month when a bald eagle literally lost its lunch, taking out her windshield in the process.
The eagle, flying overhead, dropped an 8-lb. sheephead and a fish head, smashing the windshield of the woman’s Toyota Matrix, the News Herald reported.
The woman and her 5-year-old daughter were surprised, but not hurt, police said.
“I’ve never heard of that before,” the Danbury Township police chief told the newspaper.
