Virginia Shop Switches to Waterborne with Martin Senour Paints
10/9/2009 11:08:58 AM

A Autobody, a greater Richmond, Va.-based collision repair facility, has transitioned its collision center to waterborne basecoats using the Vortex Waterborne Basecoat System from Martin Senour Paints, says Tim Cook, A Autobody shop owner.

Martin Senour recently introduced Vortex, a waterborne basecoat system that uses a proprietary resin technology that allows it to behave like solventborne systems.

“We’re very pleased to switch to this new coating system and will continue to give our customers superior results for their collision repairs as well as help to improve our air quality,” Cook said. “We didn’t switch because we had to, but because it’s a win-win situation; by transitioning to the new Vortex system, we’ve made a commitment to our customers and our community.”
