NACE Attendees Can Get Certification of Training on New EPA Rule

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will be conducting two training sessions in the International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE) Educational Theater.

Those who attend the full EPA training session on the 6H Rule and pass a quiz to demonstrate their knowledge will receive a certificate of completion. Attendees can use these certificates as evidence that they have participated in training on the provisions of the rule.

These free educational sessions are another component to the agency's Collision Repair Campaign (CRC), an industry outreach program designed to familiarize collision repair facilities with the requirements of new paint regulations.

Session One will be held Thursday, Nov. 5, 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 7, 9 a.m. to10:30 a.m.

Session Two will be held Thursday, Nov. 5, 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 7, 12:45 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Also, visit Booth N8601-A (located behind the Automotive Service Association's booth) on the following dates and times to visit with EPA representatives:

• Thursday, Nov. 5, 11 a.m. to noon

• Friday, Nov. 6, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

• Saturday, Nov. 7, 11 a.m. to noon
