New Web Site Assists Body Shops with EPA 6H Rule Compliance
2/1/2010 9:58:24 AM

GRC-Pirk Management has launched a new Web site, haps6h.com, which links with the U.S. EPA Collision Repair Campaign (CRC). The site is designed to assist body shops in complying with the EPA’s NESHAP 40 CFR 63: Paint Stripping and Miscellaneous Surface Coating Operations at Area Sources; Final Rule, also called the 6H Rule.

The HAPs 6H link was initiated in cooperation with the California Autobody Association (CAA) and the Automotive Service Association (ASA) of Michigan to provide uncomplicated assistance to its members for filing mandatory state and federal compliance notifications prior to January 2011.

Under EPA partnership arrangements, GRC-Pirk Management is providing Registered Environmental Assessment and compliance certification at no charge to CAA and ASA members for early HAPs 6H compliance.

Prominent on the 6H homepage is a simple summary of the rule and helpful links that body shop owners and operators can use to bring their shops into compliance using government funds.
