AutoPrep disposable pretreatment wipes from AkzoNobel and Henkel contain a chrome-free, corrosion-resistant metal pretreatment solution that provides quick and easy repair. Previously, pretreatment solutions were only available as liquids in metal containers that included hazardous materials such as Chrome 6. AutoPrep pre-saturated wipes are packaged in a canister with a spring-loaded lid to ensure the material remains moist. The wipes are non-hazardous under normal disposal methods, minimizing waste disposal concerns.
