ASA Announces Dates, Location for 2011 Annual Business Meeting

The Automotive Service Association (ASA) has announced it will hold its next annual business meeting May 9-11, 2011, at the Gaylord National in Washington, D.C. ASA members nationwide will meet to share ideas, network and tend to association business.

The culmination of the annual business meeting will be ASA's "Taking the Hill" Day May 11, allowing ASA members to meet with policymakers on Capitol Hill to discuss key industry issues.

Activities leading up to "Taking the Hill" Day will include open meetings of the ASA board of directors and affiliate assembly. Ron Pyle, ASA president and chief staff executive, will deliver a state-of-the-association address, and a new ASA chairman will be sworn in.

Additional information about the 2011 annual business meeting will be announced as it becomes available. Online registration for the event is slated to launch this fall.
