New York Body Shop Owner Selected for Business Review's "40 Under Forty"
2/23/2011

H&V Collision Center's Vartan Jerian Jr. has been selected for the Capital District Business Review's "40 Under Forty" list that recognizes young business leaders.

Jerian joined the collision repair business started by his father, Vartan, after completing service with the U.S. Marine Corps in the mid-1990s. He has spearheaded H&V's expansion over the past several years from one location in Troy, New York, to three in the Upstate New York Area. The opening of the Queensbury and Colonie locations came after H&V more than doubled the size of its Troy headquarters.

Along with the expansion, H&V says it has fostered strong working relationships with leading insurance providers and community organizations. H&V has been featured in national trade publications, and employees of H&V have been recognized nationally for outstanding work.

Jerian was selected for the Business Review's "40 Under Forty" along with representatives of retail, construction, specialty services, financial and educational fields. Recipients will be honored at a May 12 luncheon at the Crowne Plaza in Albany that will have nearly 800 attendees.

The Capital District Business Review has recognized young business leaders for 11 years and features the annual recipients in the publication.

Jerian and his wife, Kate, are the parents of a young son and reside in Rensselaer County.
