Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes' A-Plus Network Launches First Vision Group in Canada
4/19/2011 2:30:09 PM

The Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes A-Plus Network is an exclusive group of collision repair facilities that reflect the industry's highest standards. These collision repair facilities are part of Sherwin-Williams' value-added program that combines comprehensive business solutions to help the facilities improve customer service, employee growth, insurance relationships, process refinement, productivity and profitability.

Recently, the company held its first Vision Group meeting among its leading Canadian collision repair shop participants. More than 20 collision professionals from across the country, including Alberta, British Columbia, Quebec, Ontario and Saskatchewan, attended the two-day session at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel in Vancouver.

Topics included discussions on lean culture, performance appraisals and collision repair trends from an insurance segment perspective, as well as open forums on "what keeps shop owners up at night." Guest speakers included Ken Boulton of Dominion Insurance Company, and the group was moderated by Elainna and Mike Sachire from Square One Systems, a leading 20-group provider in the industry.

"We're very proud to launch our first A-Plus Network Vision Group in Canada," said Bob Leibel, Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes' director of sales and operations, Canada. "We've seen the effectiveness of our other Vision groups, where members work together and learn from each other. These groups tend to help all members produce increased financial performance with improved sales, gross profits and bottom line net profits. We appreciate the hard work, determination and commitment all these collision professionals are making to better their businesses."

Added Troy Neuerburg, Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes' manager of marketing business services, "The A-Plus Network began its first Vision Group in 2000, and now Sherwin-Williams operates five groups with plans to add more due to increased demand. Our Vision groups have been specifically designed for independent shop owners, shop managers, dealership owners, and dealership managers and are categorized for both single and multiple location repairers."

Sherwin-Williams collaborates with Square One Systems, Inc., an independent "20-Group" provider in the collision repair industry, to administer and moderate its Vision Groups.
