I-CAR, the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision
Repair, has announced it has surpassed teaching its three millionth student.
The organization celebrated its achievement by awarding
the three millionth I-CAR student, Kenneth Kloncz of Golden State Collision
Center-Yuba City, with admission to three future I-CAR classes, as well as
awarding the shop with an additional three complimentary I-CAR classes. The
collision center has been an I-CAR Gold Class Professionals business since June
2010.
I-CAR has taught over 60,000 unique individuals in the
past year through instructor-led (live) training in proper collision repair
techniques and up-to-date information on vehicle technology. In 2010, I-CAR
hosted over 10,000 instructor-led (live) classes and qualification tests
nationally. Internationally, I-CAR has licensed operations in Canada,
Australia and New Zealand.
"I-CAR training is very valuable to me as a refinish
technician, and I was very excited to learn that I've contributed to this
milestone for I-CAR," said Kloncz. "Vehicle technology is continually
changing, and I-CAR training offers technicians like myself a chance to stay current
and understand better how to complete repairs."
