The Boyd Group Inc. today announced the opening of two new repair centers, located in Grove City, Ohio and Seattle, Wash. A third center in Everett, Wash., is expected to open next week.

With these additions, the Boyd Group now owns and operates nine repair centers in Ohio and 10 in Washington, bringing the total number of U.S. locations to 128.

The Grove City, Ohio start-up facility operates under the True2Form Collision Repair Centers trade name and is approximately 19,000 square feet, with 13,000 square feet of production space. The Seattle, Wash., and Everett, Wash., facilities operate under the Gerber Collision & Glass trade name and are approximately 19,000 and 9,000 square feet in size, respectively.

The Boyd Group now owns and operates 38 repair centers that operate under the True2Form trade name and 63 under the Gerber Collision & Glass trade name.

"We're continuing to execute on our strategy of expanding into select markets and growing our network of repair centers across North America," said Tim O'Day, president and COO of the Boyd Group's U.S. Operations. "Our newest start-up facility in Grove City is our fifth location in the Columbus metro area and expands our service territory to southwestern Franklin County.

"We're also excited about our strengthening presence in Washington, as we expand our service offerings to customers and insurance partners in the west side of Seattle as well as south and central Everett. The design of these new facilities has taken into account lean manufacturing initiatives, with the Seattle location additionally including a regional training facility."

The Boyd Group is continuously looking to add new collision repair locations to its existing network in Canada and the U.S. Interested collision repair center owners are asked to contact Kim Allen, business development manager for Gerber Collision & Glass, for more information.
