The new Elektron Multispot MI-100control T squeeze-type resistance spot welder features the industry’s lightest transformer pliers, longest lightweight cables and highest welding current, enabling technicians to properly spot weld high-strength steels, even in hard-to-reach areas, without sacrificing comfort. Standard equipment for the Multispot MI-100control T includes the MTX-4900 high-performance transformer pliers, which are 25 percent lighter and 40 percent smaller than any other trans-gun pliers. It delivers 14,000 amps at the tips with just a 32 A fuse and has a high electrode squeeze pressure of over 900 psi to forge a very strong weld.
