The Automotive Body Parts Association (ABPA) has announced updates to the upcoming 2016 ABPA Annual Meeting & Convention, being held at the Miami Hyatt Regency Hotel in Miami, April 26-29.
Events to be held during the convention include a golf outing, a fishing tour (depending on attendance), a welcome dinner, a harbor dinner cruise, and two days of industry updates and discussion. Click here to register for the convention.

Servicing the Insurance Driven Market
This panel discussion features participants from Nationwide, Farmers, NSF, Caliber Collision and Service King, and is moderated by Jim Smith. The discussion will provide insight into the complex dynamics between insurance companies, collision repair shops, parts manufacturers and parts distributors, and will further explain what it takes to become a trusted supplier.
Legislative and Regulatory Update
Robert Passmore, CPCU, assistant vice president, Personal Lines Policy, Property Casualty Insurers Association of America, addresses legislative and regulatory issues related to insurance and collision repair, with an emphasis on parts issues. He will also cover the broader topic of collision repair insurance issues and how they affect the replacement parts market.
ABPA Lawsuit Update
Dan Morrissey will update the audience on the current status and latest movement in the ongoing lawsuit against Ford Motor Co.
CAPA Parts Certification Update
