Air Filtration Co., Inc. Now Authorized Importer and Master Distributor of Speritex 6/65 HT Diffusion Media

Speritex 6/65 HT is a synthetic air filter media suitable for final filtration and final air diffusion in paint spraybooths.

Air Filtration Co., Inc. announced that they have become an authorized importer and master distributor of Speritex 6/65 HT diffusion media for North America (excluding California). Media should be in stock at their Corydon, Iowa, facility and ready for sale in May 2016.

Speritex 6/65 HT is a synthetic air filter media suitable for final filtration and final air diffusion in paint spraybooths. It is constructed from thermally bonded synthetic fiber that is resistant to high temperatures and is self-extinguishing. It is designed with a progressive structure to optimize dust-holding capacity and coated with a special non-migratory and non-drying adhesive agent, which provides for maximum dust-holding capacity and low pressure drop. Media is reinforced with a synthetic scrim on the air exit side in order to ensure dimensional stability, increase rigidity and prevent fiber migration.

Speritex was founded in 1972 in the Milano area of Italy, moved to Brusnengo in 1994 and finally to a larger facility in Cerrione in 2014. Speritex began as a manufacturer of thermal insulation products for the construction and automotive industries, along with air filter media for HVAC and paint booth applications. They quickly became a leading European manufacturer thanks to some of the most advanced and highest performing media available. Speritex has been supplying Speritex 6/65 diffusion media to the North American market since the 1980s.
