The Auto Body Association of Texas (ABAT) announced it is holding a Collision Industry Day in downtown Fort Worth, Texas, on Sept. 25th. The event will be held from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Historic Fort Worth Hilton.
Mike Anderson of Collision Advice will speak about industry trends and necessary processes and procedures.
Wayne Krause of Mitchell International will take a comprehensive look at the estimating and material refinish databases, Frank LaViola of Enterprise will discuss Texas-specific statistics, and Robert McDormand of Vehicle Value Experts will add relevant information to the processes and procedures discussion.
The association was founded on the principles of good business for the Texas collision repair industry.
In 2015, ABAT hired market research company Ten Point Complete to conduct its first “Prevailing Practices Study.” The results of this study recognized the need to continue this discussion with more research and industry training.
“We hope to bring more education to this market,” said ABAT President Burl Richards. “We are excited to bring this dynamic group of speakers and vendors to talk to Texas.”
