Axalta Coating Systems will showcase its industrial coatings at the annual American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA) convention April 22-25, 2014, in San Diego, Calif.

Coatings experts will staff Booth 626, which will feature a complete system of premium-quality products including Imron polyurethane, Corlar epoxy and Tufcote acrylic products designed to protect rail assets from corrosion, harsh environments and graffiti. These products deliver a high-gloss appearance with 0.3 lbs./gallon VOC level, according to Axalta.
 
"Consistently delivering premium quality products to meet the highest expectations of corrosion protection and appearance truly makes our products built for performance," said Richard Cecchini, Axalta transportation sales manager. "This should translate to a lower cost of ownership so rail fleets can stay in service longer."
