BASF Automotive Refinish Solutions’ booths at the International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) and the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas will feature appearances by automotive designer Chip Foose and custom-car displays, the company announced.
Foose will promote the new Foose Signature Line of BASF paint, which is available in both R-M solventborne and Glasruit waterborne versions. Foose will also debut his latest custom car, the “Terracuda,” and sign autographs at the shows. The company’s 1957 Mercedes “Gullwing,” which was restored on the SPEED Channel’s “Dream Car Garage” will be on display at NACE Nov. 7 and 8. At SEMA, BASF will display its Mercedes GLK customized by Legendary Motorcars; a Scion belonging to Ken Gushi, one of the top U.S. competitors in the sport of drifting; a Ring Bros. custom Camaro; and a Harley-Davidson “Dragon Bike” custom-painted by automotive artist Pamela Shantea.
