BASF to Bring Chip Foose to CARSTAR Conference

Foose will participate in the opening ceremonies, attend the vendor expo on Sunday, July 10th, from 12-4 p.m. and be at the BASF booth for autographs and photos.

BASF Automotive Refinish announced it is bringing Chip Foose, world-renowned restoration expert, to the 2016 CARSTAR conference July 9-11 in New Orleans. In addition, BASF is a Gold Sponsor of CARSTAR’s charity walk on July 10th to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network.

“Chip relies on the excellence of Glasurit 90 Line paint to win many coveted awards including four Ridler awards and seven America’s Most Beautiful Roadster awards,” said Glasurit Market Segment Manager Shefali Cromer. “His designs always culminate with his finishing touch of custom Glasurit paint.”

Foose will participate in the opening ceremonies, giving attendees an opportunity to see him sketch a one-of-a-kind Foose masterpiece. Foose will also attend the vendor expo on Sunday, July 10th, from 12-4 p.m. and be at the BASF booth for autographs and photos. Attendees are encouraged to stop by the booth to meet Foose and enter for a chance to win his sketch from the opening ceremony.

Foose currently serves as the creative head and driving force behind Foose Design, headquartered in Huntington Beach, Calif. Foose Design specializes in illustration, graphics, ideation model making, surfacing, and the complete construction of automobiles and automobile-related products.
