The Boyd Group Acquires Multi-Shop Collision Operation in Ontario

The Boyd Group Inc. announced that it has acquired a four-shop collision operation in Sudbury, Ontario, that previously operated as Regent Autobody.

The Boyd Group Inc. announced that it acquired a multi-store operation located in Sudbury, Ontario, consisting of four collision repair centers on Jan. 31, 2018. The centers were previously operated by the Nero Family as Regent Autobody.

“We are very excited to add these new locations, which have served the Sudbury market well for over 30 years,” said Tony Canade, president of Assured Automotive, one of the trade names  The Boyd Group operates under in Canada. “We look forward to becoming part of these communities and the opportunity to provide the friendly service and quality repairs that Assured is known for.

“With this acquisition in Sudbury, which is about four hours north of the Greater Toronto Area, we are now better positioned to serve our customers and insurance partners in northern Ontario. We are pleased to broaden our reach in the province, and we look forward to increasing our footprint with additional locations in the surrounding markets.”

The Boyd Group is one of the largest operators of non-franchised collision repair centers in North America in terms of number of locations and sales.
