Abaris Training Resources Inc. announced that it will conducting a hands-on demonstration on advanced composite structural repair techniques for automotive structures at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4, and 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at the SEMA Collision Repair & Refinish Stage, booth no. 10879, North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The 30-minute demonstrations, titled “Abaris: Carbon Fiber Repair,” will be conducted by Michael J. Hoke, president of Abaris, along with Michael Meringolo, Abaris technical instructor. They will be held in cooperation with I-CAR and will include discussion on basic damage assessment and removal methods along with an overview of basic repair principles for regaining structural integrity in a damaged, carbon fiber-reinforced composite panel.
The presentation is intended to walk the attendee through each step in the repair process and provide insight into how repairs can easily be done to carbon fiber-reinforced polymeric structures using common industry methods and techniques.
