CARSTAR Canada announced the opening of CARSTAR Midland located in Midland, Ontario. Owned and operated by Steve Jacklin, CARSTAR Midland can be found within the Tom Smith Chevrolet Buick GMC dealership.

Jacklin has extensive experience in the automotive industry, dating back to the late 80s. In 2012, he purchased the 27,000-square-foot dealership and has recently transitioned 6,000 square feet of the location into CARSTAR Midland. Featuring advanced equipment, a renovated, modern customer service lounge and in-house car rentals, CARSTAR Midland employs seven staff members with plans for future growth.

“We are eager to grow our business with a successful brand, such as CARSTAR,” said Jacklin. “Through their structure and process, we know we will be able to bring a higher level of confidence from both our customers and our employees to our business.”

Throughout the years, the location has supported many community activities including children’s sports and senior initiatives, and is currently a gold level partner of the Georgian Bay Hospital Foundation.
