CARSTAR Welcomes New Area Director of Operations

In his new role, Darryl Rochefort will provide operational direction to coach, counsel and consult CARSTAR franchisees in the Midwest Region.

CARSTAR announced the addition of Darryl Rochefort as its newest area director of operations. In his new role, Rochefort will provide operational direction to coach, counsel and consult CARSTAR franchisees in the Midwest Region. Rochefort will report to Melissa Miller, CARSTAR’s national director of operations.

Rochefort has worked in the collision repair industry since 1992. His experience includes all aspects of body shop management along with a background in the insurance industry. Throughout his career, Rochefort has been everything from a single-shop manager to a district manager, overseeing 10 locations. He also has a track record of maintaining CSI scores in the 97 percent and above range.

Rochefort most recently worked at Russ Darrow group in Wisconsin, where he oversaw the growth of four shops, increasing the net profits of two of them by more than 250 percent. Before that, he was a district manager at ABRA Auto Body & Glass in Madison/Milwaukee, Wis. He was also a general manager at Dick Scott Collision in Fowlerville, Mo., and Collex Collision in Orion Township, Mo. He also worked for Citizens Insurance as an adjuster, and was the body shop manager at Dick Morris Chevrolet in Walled Lake, Mich.

Rochefort is a resident of Oconomowoc, Wis., and holds both I-CAR and ASE B6 certifications.
