Collision Industry Foundation Announces First Gala Fundraiser in Conjunction with NACE

The Collision Industry Foundation (CIF) will host its first gala CIF Fundraiser to benefit its current charitable initiatives. On Sunday, Oct. 10 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, the Foundation will host guests for live music by Total Loss, starring industry members Rod Enlow and Rick Tuuri.

Held in conjunction with the NACE Expo, the event will help to publicize and support the two leading initiatives of the CIF. First is Shops Against Hunger, a joint donation and volunteer project to combat hunger in the USA. During the month of November, members of the collision industry will be asked to donate their time at local food banks. CIF’s other current initiative benefits Recycled Rides, a nationwide awareness project whereby members of the National Auto Body Council (NABC) repair and donate recycled vehicles for families in need in their communities.

"The CIF Board felt that this was an opportunity for industry members to give back to the industry while having a great time," said Jeanne Silver, CIF chair. "We are hoping that this will become an annual event that is not only fun, but sheds light on those in need that we can support by attending."

CIF is also looking for items that can be auctioned off at the event. If you have anything you feel of value that could be used in the fundraiser, please feel free to contact the office. If you cannot attend the event, there is donation information on the registration page.
