SprayMax 2K Wash Primer

Corrosion Protection for Aluminum

SprayMax's 2K Wash Primer is one product of the SprayMax Aerosol Small Damage Repair System and provides exceptional corrosion protection on different metal surfaces – specifically aluminum – used by OEMs.

spraymaxSprayMax’s 2K Wash Primer is one product of the SprayMax Aerosol Small Damage Repair System. It provides exceptional corrosion protection on different metal surfaces – specifically aluminum – used by OEMs. According to OE repair recommendations, the aluminum needs to be primed with a 2K wash/etch primer before applying subsequent fillers, basecoats and clearcoats. More and more OEMs are using aluminum parts in the production of their vehicles. Aluminum needs to be primed with a 2K Wash Primer to ensure maximum adhesion of the subsequent paint layers. 2K Wash Primer is approved by most of the OEMs to do this job. SprayMax 2K aerosols are ready to use (spray) – no mixing is required – just shake thoroughly, activate the aerosol and shake again. SprayMax aerosols provide an OE-approved paint repair system with the advantage of aerosol technology with spraying behavior comparable to a gun application. It’s a fast application with no cleaning required afterwards, so it’s ideal for sand-through areas. Like every wash primer, the SprayMax 2K Wash Primer needs to be overcoated with a 2K Acrylic Filler, which is also available in the SprayMax Aerosol Small Damage Repair System.
