Esurance Honors Three Stores with CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Expert of the Year Awards

Awards based on cycle time, compliance with Esurance's DRP and other criteria.

At the recent CARSTAR annual conference in Las Vegas, three CARSTAR facilities earned honors as CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Expert of the Year by Esurance, the direct-to-consumer insurance company.

CARSTAR CEO David Byers, Senior Vice President of Insurance Dan Young and National Network Manager Earl Richardson of Esurance honored representatives from each winning store during the annual awards ceremony.

The CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Expert of the Year awards are given by Esurance to the top performing stores in the East, Central and West categories and are based on criteria such as a facility’s estimate cycle time, compliance with Esurance’s E-star direct repair program, re-inspection variance, I-CAR Gold status and customer service comments.

The award was created to celebrate the top technicians in the industry and recognize those who continue their technological education and encourage new generations to become collision repair professionals.

The winning facilities are:

  • East – Ace Sullins CARSTAR, Miramar, Fla.
  • Central – Milwaukee Collision Service CARSTAR, Wauwatosa, Wis.
  • West – Ballard Collision CARSTAR, Seattle, Wash.

“We are committed to our insurance partners like Esurance to deliver consistent, high-quality repair work,” said Byers. “We’ve honored three CARSTAR franchisees here tonight whose standards exceed what Esurance expects from collision repair. I congratulate them for earning the title CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Expert of the Year, and I thank Esurance for its continued campaign to educate technicians in this industry.”
