Gerber Collision & Glass Strengthens Position in Indiana

MSO acquires a multi-store operation consisting of six collision repair centers that previously operated as Collision Cure Body Werks.

gerberThe Boyd Group Inc. announced that it has acquired a multi-store operation in Indiana consisting of six collision repair centers located in the Indianapolis region. The centers previously operated as Collision Cure Body Werks, with the first location established in 2003 in Anderson, Ind.

“Over the past few years, we have added several locations in northwest Indiana, focusing on serving customers in the Chicago region,” said Tim O’Day, president and COO of the Boyd Group’s U.S. operations. “With this acquisition, we have established a footprint in the Indianapolis region, vibrant communities with a population of nearly two million.”

The new centers are located north of Indianapolis and include Anderson, Fishers, Kokomo, Marion, Muncie and Westfield, Ind. They are in close proximity to Gerber’s two locations in Lafayette, Ind., acquired in January.

“We are pleased to now provide our customers and insurance partners in central Indiana with several locations to serve their collision repair needs,” said O’Day. “We look forward to becoming part of these communities and delivering the professional and friendly service that Gerber is known for.”
