Insurance Journal reported that hailstorms that rolled through the Fort Worth, Texas, area last week could wind up resulting in $300 million in vehicle repairs.
A spokesman for the Insurance Council of Texas estimated that nearly 50,000 cars were damaged by the morning storms on March 17th. The hail fell in two bursts and varied in size from blueberries to tennis balls.
