Kent Automotive Now a Member of the I-CAR Industry Training Alliance

Kent Automotive announced that it’s now a member of the I-CAR Industry Training Alliance and will provide training that will allow industry members to apply for I-CAR Gold Class points. As a qualifier to join the Industry Training Alliance, Kent Automotive has also been approved as an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certified Training Provider.

Kent now will focus the next few months on rolling out its first course, Automotive Plastic Repair. A group of Kent field trainers and managers from all over the United States and Canada have been trained to become instructors in Automotive Plastic Repair using the course agenda outlined by Kent and approved by I-CAR. This course was developed under ASE CASE program standards. Approval by the Industry Training Alliance allows the recipients (those that attend and pass a written test) to apply for I-CAR Gold Class Points.

“We are extremely proud to become a member of the prestigious Industry Training Alliance and look forward to expanding our course selection beyond Automotive Plastic Repair,” said Matthew Brown, director of sales for Kent. “Our goal is to serve the Automotive Aftermarket Industry as best we can.”

Inquiries into course schedules and agendas should be made to the local Kent Automotive representative or by calling (888) 937-5368.
