Through the National Auto Body Council’s Recycled Rides program, GEICO partnered with Performance Finishes to provide a refurbished vehicle to Family Promise of Ouachita in West Monroe, La. The vehicle presentation ceremony took place Thursday, Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. at Performance Finishes, located at 6885 Johnson St. in Lafayette.
GEICO donated the vehicle, while Performance Finishes provided the repair services. The vehicle will assist Family Promise in fulfilling its mission to help at-risk families transition from homelessness through successful, sustainable independence, according to Performance Finishes.
