Montana Insurance Commissioner Warns Public About Steering

Monica Lindeen, via a PSA-type announcement, reminds consumers that they have the right to choose the facility of their choice to repair their vehicle.

Democratic Montana Insurance Commissioner Monica Lindeen has released a PSA-type announcement reminding the public of their rights when it comes to auto insurance and warning them not to be “steered in the wrong direction.”

The ad, paid for by the Montana Collision Repair Association and the Montana Broadcasters Association, informed viewers that “By law, you can have your vehicle repaired by the facility of your choice.”

“The choice is yours,” Lindeen says.
