Shop-Pro Equipment announced that its Mobile Work Station line of portable booths has been certified as compliant to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants Rule: 40 CFR 63 Subpart HHHHHH (commonly known as EPA 6H) for use in surface coating operations.
“I’m glad we can now provide our customers with a certificate reflecting the units’ compliancy to EPA 6H,” said Dan Carrig, general manager of Shop-Pro Equipment.
The certification by GRC-Pirk Management Company, Registered Environmental Assessors, provides current and future Mobile Work Station owners with the confidence they desire when using these unique units.
Steven Schillinger, President of GRC-Pirk Management, said, “It is truly uplifting to evaluate quality equipment. In addition to assuring the equipment was up to the EPA specification, we reviewed the integrity of the system, ease of use and cost of operation. This equipment is without a doubt the best in class.”
With its multi-stage filtration and self-contained enclosure, the Mobile Work Station provides a clean work area for prepping, sanding or limited high quality painting anywhere it’s needed, without dedicated shop space or building and ventilation system modifications. In addition to the environmental benefits provided by its filtration, its patented recirculation system can also provide a significant reduction in energy costs.
