Quest Automotive Products (QAP) announced that it has expanded its agreement with Larsen Motorsports (LMS) to include a new multi-year partnership beginning in 2014.
For the past four years, Matrix System, a QAP brand, has provided its paint products from start to finish in support of the JMS jet racing team. Preparation for 2014 has already begun with two new jet cars and multiple trailers being painted.
This season, LMS co-founder Elaine Larsen has been busy driving two jet cars at drag strips across North America. In preparation for next year, she has expanded her team to include three newcomers:
- Marisha Falk, flight instructor at Embry-Riddle University
- Dawn Perdue, registered nurse
- Katarina (Kat) Moller, mechanical engineering student at University of South Florida
“These highly-educated and fearless women are inspirations and role models for future generations,” said Laura Yerkey, director of marketing, QAP. “LMS’ association with Embry-Riddle, and their dedication to education and research, aligns with QAP’s core values. This sponsorship is a great way to connect with our customers and showcase our Matrix System products in extreme conditions.”
By spring 2014, LMS will have four jet racing teams competing across the country.
"Matrix System is a valuable partner for us at Larsen Motorsports," said Chris Larsen, owner. "The superior product line is applied to all of the LMS race cars and transporters. As our teams travel across the country, the equipment sees all kinds of harsh conditions. In the motorsports entertainment business, our vehicles have to look perfect every time. Thanks to the durability and unparalleled quality of Matrix System products, that impression is easy to maintain."
