Quincy Compressor Acquires Air Perfection

Quincy Compressor Inc., a manufacturer of reciprocating and rotary screw air compressors, has acquired Air Perfection, a privately-held company.

Air Perfection distributes the full-line of Quincy Compressor products and is located in Dixon, Calif., northeast of San Francisco. Air Perfection is the first Quincy Compressor company store and will continue to operate under its own name and provide compressed air sales and service to its present customer base.

With more than 40 employees, Air Perfection is recognized as a leader in developing and maintaining compressed air systems. The company provides customers with an integrated product line and services, including initial consultation, product selection, sales, installation and maintenance.

“The full support of Quincy’s manufacturing facilities and sales teams positions Air Perfection to grow its business,” said Quincy Compressor President John Thompson. “At the same time, Quincy Compressor can better meet the needs of the growing compressed air industry by offering its premium product line and supporting it through expert sales and service partners like Air Perfection.”

Founded in 1920, Quincy Compressor is a designer and manufacturer of reciprocating and rotary screw air compressors, vacuum pumps and a full line of air treatment components. An EnPro Industries company, Quincy is headquartered in Bay Minette, Ala., and operates locations in Quincy, Ill., and Kunshan, China.
