Uber has put the brakes on its pilot program for self-driving cars after an autonomous vehicle crashed in Tempe, Ariz., according to a Reuters report.
San Francisco-based Uber said it is suspending its pilot program for autonomous vehicles in Arizona, Pittsburgh and San Francisco until a crash investigation is completed, according to Reuters.
The collision occurred when the driver of a second vehicle “failed to yield” to the Uber test vehicle while making a turn, Tempe Police Department spokeswoman Josie Montenegro told Reuters.
The accident caused no serious injuries.
