Select Matrix System and Pro-Spray Training Programs Now Approved for I-CAR Credit

Painter Product Certification, Color Theory, National Rule Product and Low VOC Product integrated into I-CAR Alliance Program.

Quest Automotive Products, a division of Quest Specialty Coatings, has announced the approval of select Matrix System and Pro-Spray Automotive Finishes training programs by the I-CAR Industry Training Alliance.

Effective immediately, credit toward I-CAR knowledge areas in certain roles as well as annual training requirements can be awarded for taking refinish technician training offered by Matrix System Automotive Finishes and Pro-Spray Finishes. All classes are taught at Quest Automotive Products’ headquarters in Massillon, Ohio.

Matrix System offers a Painter Product Certification, which meets the ProLevel 3 knowledge area, and Color Theory, which meets the ProLevel 1 and 2 knowledge areas.

Pro-Spray offers courses in National Rule Product and Low VOC Product, which meet the ProLevel 3 knowledge area, and Color Theory, which meets the ProLevel 1 and 2 knowledge areas.

“I am proud that we are associated with the I-CAR Alliance Program,” said Bill Warner, technical training manager. “I-CAR has been a strong source of valuable information for technicians over the years. Our goal is to support and educate our customers while giving them the ability to earn credit hours toward their I-CAR certification.”

These two-day sessions are free of charge with all training materials, meals and personal protection equipment included. Those interested in attending should contact their local area sales manager for more details about the courses or click here.

The Industry Training Alliance exists to recognize the accomplishments of training through approved training providers. All programs approved for inclusion into the Training Alliance must support the I-CAR vision that every person in the collision repair industry has the information, knowledge and skills required to perform complete and safe repairs for the ultimate benefit of the consumer.
