Service King Donates $112,000 to National Breast Cancer Foundation

Throughout October, Service King employees from across the country rallied to raise $56,000, and the company then matched that figure.

BodyShop BusinessThroughout October, Service King employees from across the country rallied to raise $56,000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The company matched that figure to bring the grand total to $112,000.

“The response from our teammates was truly inspirational,” said Chris Abraham, Service King CEO. “Breast cancer touches so many of us in so many ways. We are honored to come together as a family and raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation and its mission to raise awareness and find a cure.”

Throughout the campaign, Service King teammates wore pink wristbands and “Eliminate Breast Cancer” T-shirts. The company also honored its own teammates who had been personally affected by breast cancer by telling their stories of hope on its official blog, The Service Advisor. The series was entitled “Faces of Breast Cancer.”

“Service King’s dedication and support of our mission to help women now has truly been inspiring,” said National Breast Cancer Foundation co-founder and CEO Janelle Hail. “The funds raised by Service King will help us provide thousands of free early detection services for women across all 50 states.”
