Service King Collision Repair Centers announced that the company has surpassed another milestone in its Mission 2 Hire program.
Since launching in May 2015, Service King has recruited and hired more than 300 military veterans and spouses through Mission 2 Hire, according to the company.
With the announcement, the program remains ahead of its goal of providing careers to 500 veterans and spouses in five years.
“The Mission 2 Hire program continues to be a proud symbol of Service King’s pledged commitment to serving military veterans and families across the country,” said Jeff McFadden, president of Richardson, Texas-based Service King. “Surpassing another milestone is a proud moment in that mission as we march onward toward our goal of welcoming 500 veterans and military spouses to the Service King family.”
Service King encourages all veterans, active-duty personnel and military family members interested in career opportunities with the organization to visit Mission2Hire.careers to learn more about the program. The custom website includes a matching tool that pairs skills common among military veterans to corresponding positions at Service King.
The organization also is an active member of the Military Spouse Employment Partnership. The Defense Department-backed partnership is a joint initiative between leading U.S. businesses to actively recruit and hire military veterans and spouses to their organizations.
Service King has promoted its Mission 2 Hire through high-profile events, including an award-winning radio spot during Westwood One’s syndicated coverage of Super Bowl 50.
