Snap-on awarded two collision students each with a starter tool set and a toolbox through the Collision Repair Education Foundation’s spring tool grant opportunity. The tool grant, valued at over $2,700 for each student, was made available to select high school seniors and post-secondary students studying in collision repair programs.
The student winners of the 2016 Snap-on Tool Grant include:
- Jonathan Herman (Washburn Tech, Topeka, Kan.)
- William May (Tennessee College of Applied Technology, Livingston, Tenn.)
“Snap-on is proud to award Starter Tool Sets to these very worthy collision repair students,” said Greg Rintala, Snap-on national sales manager – education. “Students, schools and employers all benefit when a new collision repair tech starts a career with the right tools for the job. These Snap-on tools will serve the winners well for a lifetime. Snap-on has supported career and technical education for decades with our Student Excellence Program for tool purchases, NC3 Certification Curriculum, and school and instructor support. We look forward to continuing that support in the future.”
