State Farm’s ‘Hi-Tech Toolbox’ Show to Shoot Video at BodyShop Business Conference

State Farm will be bringing a little bit of Hollywood to
the 2011 BodyShop Business Conference May 5 in Chicago by filming several
interviews for its "Hi-Tech Toolbox" show.

The Hi-Tech Toolbox is a webcast/website dedicated to providing the
collision repair industry the latest information in collision repair and
refinishing technology and vehicle design. It’s hosted by Bob Medved, Roger
Cada and Doug Benkert, State Farm corporate claim training instructors, and
Lisa Medved from the P&C Claims Department. Although State Farm employees
and Select Service shops have exclusive access to the entire website, many of
their videos can now be viewed on the www.statefarm.com YouTube channel. Look for
the Hi-Tech Toolbox playlist!

Hi-Tech Toolbox has interviewed celebrities and other professionals involved in the collision repair and automotive custom industries to highlight why they got involved in the industry, and the career opportunities that await. The show has also featured manufacturers discussing their latest tools and technology as well as industry leaders talking about future trends in collision repair.

Past Hi-Tech Toolbox videos have featured such
celebrities as Mike Rowe, host of Discovery Channel’s popular show "Dirty
Jobs," custom car builder Chip Foose and custom painter Charley Hutton. Each were interviewed to
get their perspective on the importance of supporting skilled trade education in this
country.

"It’s important to continue recruiting bright, young
people into the collision repair industry to ensure there are enough quality
technicians to repair today’s vehicles," said Bob Medved. "That was
one of our main focuses for releasing Hi-Tech Toolbox video on YouTube. We
invite all automotive instructors to use any of our videos to provide their
students a clear view into the world of modern collision repair."
