The Plymouth Rock Group of Companies Selects Mitchell as Exclusive Provider of Physical Damage Claims Solutions

Mitchell International, Inc. announced that The Plymouth Rock Group of Companies has selected Mitchell as its exclusive provider of physical damage claims solutions. Under the terms of the deal, High Point Auto Insurance, Palisades Safety & Insurance and Plymouth Rock Assurance Corporation will leverage Mitchell’s WorkCenter solution, an end-to-end, physical damage claims settlement workspace, to power all of its physical damage claims processing needs including assignment, repairable estimating, total loss valuation, review, repair management and reporting.

"The Plymouth Rock Group of Companies conducted a thorough due diligence process that resulted in the selection of Mitchell’s WorkCenter as the single platform solution capable of enabling a more efficient claims process and improving customer satisfaction," said Rick Adam, vice president claims, High Point Safety and Insurance Management Corporation.

He added, "Mitchell’s WorkCenter gives us the ability to leverage scale across all Plymouth Rock companies in terms of cost advantage, efficiencies, central data collection and consistent workflow. The ease of implementing Mitchell’s claims handling technology in such a diverse IT environment was a definite deciding factor in our decision to choose WorkCenter."

Mitchell WorkCenter will provide The Plymouth Rock Group of Companies with the tools to manage claims efficiency by eliminating the need for claims handlers to log into multiple systems and re-key data fields, speeding workflow. The end-to-end solution will also improve customer satisfaction by keeping those involved in the claim informed, including the ability for adjusters to view real-time repair status. In addition, Mitchell’s industry-leading total loss solution will provide a statistically-driven, fully automated, total loss valuation system-generating fair, market-driven values for loss vehicles, helping to assure policyholders that they are being fairly compensated for their loss.

"Mitchell is pleased to contract with The Plymouth Rock Group of Companies and is thrilled to have another leading insurer sign on exclusively to Mitchell’s WorkCenter. WorkCenter clearly meets the industry’s demand for a complete end-to-end integrated physical damage claims processing solution," said Scott Kozak, senior vice president, Insurance Market for Mitchell International.
