Toyota Motor Sales will bring the 2016 Toyota Mirai to NACE | CARS in Anaheim. Attendees will have an opportunity to take a ride in this hydrogen-powered vehicle and learn more about its technology.

In addition to zero-emission, the Mirai boasts some of the most advanced automotive technology, including a pre-collision system, lane departure alert, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot monitor, dynamic radar cruise control, brake assist, enhanced vehicle stability control and smart stop technology. The car offers 151 hp, 247 lbs. per foot of torque and an estimated 312-mile range. The technology in this vehicle makes it one of the safest available.

Attendees of the Technology & Telematics Forum will be able to hear more about this unique vehicle from Jay Brown of Toyota, who will discuss the work and planning that led to the final product and much of the technology in the car.

“Toyota participated in the Technology & Telematics Forum at NACE | CARS in 2014 and shared some of their work on fuel cell technology,” said Donny Seyfer, ASA chairman. “This year, attendees will get to know the final product. And while the car has a lot of unique features, much of the technology directly relates to the discussion and advancement of telematics.”

The Mirai will be on display Wednesday evening, August 10, at the Party on the Plaza, located at the Grand Plaza in front of the Anaheim Convention Center. Toyota will also be offering rides Friday afternoon, August 12 at 11:30 a.m., at the outdoor expo area behind Hall B.

Those interested in seeing or riding in the Mirai must be registered for an Expo or Conference Pass for NACE | CARS 2016. Registration can be obtained online at www.NACEexpo.com or www.CARSevent.com, or on site at show time.
