Washington Metropolitan Auto Body Association to Host Meeting on Technology and Legal Information

Repair techniques and legal maneuvers will be discussed at Sept. 18 gathering in Linthicum, Md.

The Washington Metropolitan Auto Body Association (WMABA) will holding a meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 18 titled "Proper Repair Techniques and the Legal Perspective." the
two-part meeting will educate attendees on new vehicle technologies and
collision-specific legal information. The meeting will be held from 1-8:30 p.m. EDT at the Hilton BWI (1739 Nursery Road in Linthicum, Md.).

"New Vehicle Technologies and Repair Procedures" (Part 1) begins at 1 p.m. Toby Chess will discuss how today’s vehicles need attention to recommendations and processes far surpassing what was available in the past. The future of vehicle technologies will also be discussed.

Dinner, at 6 p.m., will kick off Part 2, "The POWER of a Power of Attorney and Repair Authorization." Ray Gunder, Brent Geohagen and Barrett Smith will discuss how they’ve successfully navigated their legal trenches.

The meeting is free for WMABA members and $75 for non-members.
