WaterMasters to Exhibit at 2009 BodyShop Business Waterborne Conference

Indianapolis-based FinishMaster, a leading national distributor of automotive paints, coatings and paint-related accessories, has announced that its waterborne division, WaterMasters, will be exhibiting at the 2009 BodyShop Business Waterborne Conference to be held Aug. 13-14 at Sawmill Creek Resort in Huron, Ohio.

WaterMasters is participating in this first-ever conference to help educate body shop owners and managers about the advantages of converting to waterborne products. The company has converted over 400 collision repair centers to waterborne products.

“WaterMasters offers a proven, repeatable waterborne conversion process that places our customers in the best position to take advantage of the opportunities that are available when using waterborne coatings,” said Herb Butler, national waterborne project manager for WaterMasters. “While some areas have mandated waterborne products, many areas have not. It is our opinion that a collision center located in a non-mandated area has additional opportunities by converting to waterborne products.”

Attendees who stop by the WaterMasters booth will have the opportunity to learn about these business-building opportunities by talking with the company’s expert personnel. In addition, shop owners can learn about FinishMaster’s SMART product line, which offers many items that are designated waterborne-ready.

“Waterborne is the future of the collision repair industry, so we want to help body shop businesses take advantage of converting to waterborne,” said Butler. “This is their chance to be a market leader and differentiate themselves from the competition.”

For more information on the conference, visit www.waterbornefacts.com or call (330) 670-1234 ext. 234. Shops can take advantage of early-bird pricing of $49.95 by registering by June 1, 2009.

FinishMaster is the largest national independent distributor of automotive paints, coatings, and related accessories to the automotive collision repair industry. Headquartered in Indianapolis, Ind., FinishMaster operates three major distribution centers and 177 branches in 39 of the 50 largest metropolitan areas in the country.
