Eurovac has introduced the Aluminum Repair – Inline Wet Mix Dust Collection Interceptor designed for the retrofit of existing central vacuums or incorporated into the design of new systems. With the introduction of the inline wet mix interceptor, the central vacuum system can now service your dust extraction needs in aluminum bays and the regular steel side of the operation. Explosive dusts are captured at the source of vacuum-ready hand tools and brought through the interceptor, which uses water filtration to capture explosive dust to nullify the risk of fire and explosions. Dust is separated and filtered by an initial venturi entry (for deep penetration of dust into the water), secondary baffles (to help knock water/dust back down) and a final mesh mist eliminator (99 percent efficient to 5 microns). There is a manual drain valve at the bottom for emptying the debris and sludge. The system meets all the requirements outlined by the NFPA 484-15 regulations.
