AASP-MN Among Associations Honored by the Midwest Society of Association Executives

The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers, Minnesota (AASP-MN) recently received a prestigious Midwest Society of Association Executives (MSAE) Award of Excellence for its Get to Know Your Neighborhood Auto Repair Pro campaign. AASP-MN received the award on June 10 at an awards ceremony and luncheon held during the 54th annual meeting of MSAE hosted at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

The MSAE Awards of Excellence program, started in 1994, is designed to recognize association activities and programs that make a difference within associations, the community or both. The MSAE Awards of Excellence program recognizes excellence in the following categories: association excellence, communications and public service.

AASP-MN’s Get to Know Your Neighborhood Auto Repair Pro campaign educates vehicle owners about the benefits of doing business with independent repair shops. The program’s message focuses on two key advantages that make a difference in the customer’s mind: relationship and capability. In recognizing the program, the MSAE awards committee commented, “Wonderful, ready-made tools for members to promote themselves. High-return campaign for participants. Great campaign – created awareness to the public.”

“It’s gratifying for AASP-MN to be recognized by its peers in the association community,” said Judell Anderson, AASP-MN executive director. “This award is a testament to the value and quality of the programs, benefits and services that AASP-MN delivers to its members and the industry at-large on a daily basis.”
