AASP/NJ Holds Sixth Annual Lou Scoras Memorial Golf Outing

More than 100 golfers turned out for the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ)’s sixth annual Lou Scoras Memorial Golf Outing last week. The event took place at the prestigious Bamm Hollow Country Club in Lincroft, N.J.

“Everything fell into place to make this our best outing yet,” says AASP/NJ Executive Director Charles Bryant. “With all of our incredible sponsors, our great members and guests who played and, of course, the money raised to donate to the Lou Scoras Scholarship fund, this was a very special day for AASP/NJ.”

The outing is held annually to raise money for a collision industry scholarship in the memory of longtime AASP/NJ member Lou Scoras of Holmdel Auto Body.

“When Lou passed, we felt that we had to do something, considering how much Lou gave of himself and his time to our industry,” Bryant added. “This outing keeps Lou’s memory alive and at the same time helps future repairers further their education. It really is a special event.”

A boost to the outing is the support of its sponsors, this year including: Leesville Auto, Zurich/Universal Underwriters, Bloomfield Auto Body, JMK BMW / Saab, American Compliance, The Amato Agency, Albert Kemperle, Meadowlands Exposition Center, NJ Gasoline-C-Store Automotive Association, AkzoNobel Coatings, L & M Auto Center, Storm Logix – Web Design, Jersey Wholesale Tire, Central Paint/Central Motor Parts, Phil Freeman, Young’s Equipment, Reliable Equipment, Lakewood Toyota, All American Auto Salvage, PPG, First Class Auto Glass, DuPont Performance Coatings, Advantage Corp, Motor Information Services – Mike Lovullo, Kent Automotive, BMA Products, Jost Garage, Triple S Farms, Auto Body Distributing Co., Summit Software Solutions, Inc., Anthony’s Auto Body, Sal’s Auto Body, Utica National Ins.
