ABRA Auto Body & Glass announced that it has expanded in Minnesota with the acquisition of all six Lehman’s Garage locations. All locations are within the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
ABRA opened its first repair center in Fridley, Minn., in 1984 and now operates 40 repair centers in the state. Its national repair center count has grown to 318 in 23 states.
“Today’s acquisition is particularly special for us as Lehman’s has been serving the community for almost a century,” said ABRA Auto Body & Glass President and CEO Duane Rouse. “The history, the reputation, and the dedication of the company to providing exceptional customer service and quality repairs is undeniable, and we are eager to carry that tradition of excellence forward.”
Added Karen Cossette, former CEO of Lehman’s Garage, “We’ve been approached by many companies over the years. We chose ABRA because their work ethic closely resembles ours and we share like-minded values of integrity, employee talent and a commitment to customers. We’re proud to have them continue the legacy we’ve built over the years.”
“We have built outstanding partnerships with insurance carriers and vehicle owners over the past 30-plus years of serving the area,” said Tim Adelmann, executive vice president of business development at ABRA Auto Body & Glass. “We are confident our partners will continue to entrust us with their collision repair needs in each of these newest locations.”
